Mating Season

I had a four day break. (No classes Mon National Heroes, No classes Tues Study day). I did not see much of Ging because she's got a hubby, hehe. They were mating, time for her to give us some cute babies, yey! :) Her partner was HUGGY, cutie! She's also menstruating na, kaya lang ang messy! ;) Can't wait!

Hurray!

We won against Adamson! When all I thought we would not win kasi naman it's already the last quarter and they did not manage to gain man lang kahit a one point lead! I changed channels na lang... pero nagulat ako at super saya when I changed back to studio 23. We won by 3 points, woohoo! Sayang I did not see the winning shot... I'm so tensed. 75-72. The only time na lamang kami, wahaha. Nice De Guzman. :)

Exciting... Exhilarating

* Funda - sermon galore. We're becoming bad, tsk! So many class related problems, pasaway sobra. ;p
Test again and again. Hair shampoo demo. Model : Kadz (The Muse). I wasn't paying much attention, busy sa CHN. ;)

* CHN - Whew! One shot test on the entire discussed topic. Over 100! And I did not study, swear! I just had an overview the same morning. Thank you Viki & Hero, my cheatmates. I love you, sobra. Saya mag-cheat... im soo bad! ;) HERO: anong sagot sa nos. blah, blah. PAU: Ewan, Baboy, Hayop, Gago... (may tawa pa). ;p

* Comp time taken by Ana-Phy for the long quiz. I listened to the discussion of the answers on the short quiz (I got some right answers kahit puro instinct lang ginamit ko, am I good or what?). Good thing talaga I listened because all the questions on the short quiz was in the long quiz (20 pts.) so I guess I'll pass that test. Wooh! :)

* PE time. Soo Happy! We started the single games, as in all of us would compete. Ilan ba kami 40+, whoa! My first 3 opponent were 20, 19, & 18. First 2 games lang natapos ko and I won both, harhar. Ano drive?? Haha! Ka-group ko si Hero and Miguel. We won all our games, yey! :)
DOUBLES MATCH bet. Hanna-Az & Pau-Miguel. Siyempre we won, haha. Miguel e... wala sila gawa dun. ;p Nakakatuwa pala doubles, coolness... as in. Nice one Miguel... and yeah, I made a couple of scores too! My so called PAU DRIVES! :)

* Went to Pacific to change clothes for tonight's game (Freshies vs. Sophies). Mike, Claire, and Fle made tambay also. Wow, crowded ah. Ang liit ng room ko tapos 8 kami,hehe. Ate dinner at Lisa's with poochi and az. Reminiscing our previous PE... hmm. :)
GAME NA! They were playing at the perps gym. wala man lang scoreboard, but we still cheered our "larynx" out. ;) Grabe ang lakas ng dating ng isang tao diyan... hay. Pero may hadlang e... napaka walang kwenta naman. Nakakairita lang. Ayan puro criticism nakuha niya from II-10. Pero siya pa rin e, so what can we do? Someone gave us a warning pa nga e: "Easy lang kayo, Darating *toot* ni *toot*". Hay sad! Anyways full force pa rin ang support namin and it payed off kasi we won by one point. Yes! Thanks to Cataps block... kahit may nangyayari sa kanyang kakaiba. Umikot-ikot ba naman, haha. ;p What a night, happy-happy. :) Thank you Claire and Fle for the support. ;p SOMEDAY YOU'LL REALIZE THAT SHE'S NOT THE ONE (bitter eh noh?)

* Went to T. Michelle's... went home 11:30. Waited for MARS but can't see anything. It was raining, I even can't see the moon. ;( Sayang! 1 am. 0_o

* As I went out of the washroom I saw Ms. Earth... with Sir Rabago. Wow, big time si Sir. Super tangkad, walang nasabi si Mike. I didn't saw their faces... but they were really BIG! :) And the boys made a big fuss about it... wtf.

* Had a glimpse of the Sabayang Pagbigkas, mas maganda daw compared from last year (batch naming yun!).

* MP LAB - post test. Mental block... tanga in short.

* Fishballs and squidballs... lucky us we saw boy kalbo fresh from his PE class. Ooooh, so guwapo. (nakita mo na siya LEN, what can you say?)

* McDo for dinner. Oooh, strawberry float na walang straw!

HALF DAY

* Tues Half - day only! What did I do? Woke up around 10 and was woken up 8 am by Jim's phone call just to ask if there is a test in MP Lec, grrr! ;(

* Early dismissal ba? We ate at Tomish Café... nice lasa. Lo Bihon! And nice coffee, so mahal! (sarcastic ha!)

Stranded

RLE - we did our return demo in Intramuscular injection, this time on a mannequin's hand. I want to do it in actual. :)

Long break - went to pacific with viki and surfed the net. FRIENDSTER. :)

Got my computer grade... 80! waaah! At least hindi line of 7, wooh! ;p

MP Lab - reporting

Because it rained so hard we are stranded in the building. Nag-sight seeing lang kami, med guy & pretty boy. ;)

I should have gone home early pala, when it's still not raining because when the rained stop it was already baha in Dapitan. Sheesh! What a disaster, I jumped to be able to go to the other side. Nabasa ng konti ung feet ko and I was wearing pa naman white stockings and shoes. Thank God nakarating ako. Annoying lang yung isang group ng guys! ;(

We ate inside na lang. Toasted SPAM, yum-yum! :)

Weekend booboos

SATURDAY

Dentist - ouch! I was so hungry! Super dami patient. When it was time I was really feeling nauseated, I was starving. The procedure pa naman is long (impacted). But luck was still on my side; T. Tintin just removed some part of my gum because it might be a distraction in the procedure (operlectomy). Lakas daw mag-bleed e. Ang sakit after! I can't completely open my mouth and the anasthetic feeling ko ung strong tapos ang tagal bago mawala, as in hours. Hate that feeling, parang namamaga. ;p

I can't eat well... waaah!

Went to the cemetery to see Lolo's mausoleum. Ang ganda na. I like the chandelier & lamps, also the stained glass. We placed the oil lamps, prayed then went home na.

Studied on the Circulatory... hindi ko gets e. :)

Nice documentary: baying dugyot? Basta ganon... :)

SUNDAY - stayed home to study. :)

Bought fruits, mainit!

Went to Manila earlier. I was sleeping when I woke up asa Taft avenue na, different route. I have to buy something for Aly & Nic, their bilins from egg. :) We went to Pacific and went online for Post test on Module 5 (NSTP). Luckily, Buboi was also online. He helped me kahit napakabagal ng computer na 'to! Ang masama don ung mga questions ko hindi natanong sa kanya so I got 4/10. Oks lang, that would be my score also if I answered it on my own. Baka nga worst pa. Imagine I finished the test in the nick of time, 14 min and 54 sec (15 min lang ang given time). After dinner I did my NCP. Tapos nakalimutan ko na wala pala akong long bond paper (even short bond) and I don't have a black ink anymore. Good thing I finished it early and I went to the comp shop. I was alone wala yung buddy ko e, si Maria Clarissa. Nagpapakasaya sa Hong Kong. :) Yehey, problem solved! Kahit natwist na naman ang ankle ko while walking... dapa queen ever! Napa-flexible talaga ng ankle ko, kahit ilang twist & turns... unbreakable. ;p

BAD LUCK

Funda - OMG! Hindi naka-silent ang telepono ko, as always, kasi nobody naman is texting me. But unfortunately during the Funda lecture tumunog siya twice. And because of a wrong send. Si Homer kasi e... thank you Chris sinave mo ko! :)

Ana-Phy - Interactive lecture 101. The very comprehensive CIRCULATORY SYSTEM. I will master you someday! ;p To make things worst, (ok, medyo funny naman) Sir was the one doing the sound effects on the Korotkoff sounds. "Sssshhhh... (malakas for the systole) ssssssssssssshhhhh (mahina for the diastole)". Si Sir talaga weirdo! ;)

LUNCH - ate at 7 eleven. Hmm, how many times did my Yakisoba ends up being an instant noodles, as in ung may sabaw? For the nth time! My god! When can I learn that you first add water, and then drain it. Afterwards, put on the seasonings.

Tambay pav. Planned our escapades after prelims, wanna have some margarita and lotsa booze! :) And slept uncomfortably at the table... waaah! ;(

We did not attended MP Lec, bad girls! ;)

English - lecture about language. Ma'am Javena told us again of her college days, days that terrorize her. :) Because of our recent activity I wanted to learn different languages. I was hoping that I could learn French, Spanish (turuan mo ko Len!), and Mandarin... it was my dream even before. Pano kaya?

Since half day tomorrow, afternoon classes lang we played DoTa! Addict na naman! :) Wooh, natalo namin si Mike. Tandem of Silly & me. Siya na naman si Rhasta at ako si Crystal Maiden. Sobrang nahihirapan ako gamitin, I mean bobo ako sa controls e, basta! ;p Pero panalo pa rin kami.
Second round: Mike & Silly vs. Buboi & Me. Ako naman si Bone Clinxz. Ang galing kasi ng nagtuturo kay Silly, master ng DoTa (Stev) kaya windwalk lang ako ng windwalk, haha. Robotic! ;p Pero panalo pa rin kami! :)

FRIDAY

Buwisit! Wala naman palang classes, PE lang. Well, Sir let us finish our exercises.

PE - No practical. Practice for the games and figure of 8. Nagkaroon kami ng rotational game. :)

Went home kagad because my mom picked me up. Went to T. Michelle’s house. Hay, nadaanan namin ang greenhills, rob gale, at market market. Sarap sana mag-shop, hehe. Oooh, LSGH nadaanan din namin… wwiiiee! ;) When I arrived andon ang mga kiddos (meg & monica). Namiss ko sila…! :)

Helluvah Week

NEW CI AND WARD. Ma'am Ger Medrana (smiley). Sto. Nino ward (semi suite = not so nice people). New patient assignment, Romeo Abadilla Jr. And I don't even like him... ewan there's something e. Nalulungkot tuloy ako, may fear kasi ako sa kanya so hindi ko magawa ng mabuti yung duty ko. Maybe because I have this feeling that inferior pa rin ako kasi student pa lang, who am I to took over the nurses job. Hay, may comfortable talaga ako sa community setting. I can be myself and talk to the patient as well. Muka akong mataray and nagkamali pa ko ng BP... waaah! Tanga-tanga ko talaga. Wish ko lang tumaas na ang platelet count niya so he would go home na, para new patient assignment next shift. :) By the way, he has Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. I also did bedmaking, kapagod naman.

Dito ko naisip na gusto ko talaga maging doctor (kahit hindi sila ang nagtuturok, hehe). Hindi, actually, in a dilemma pa rin ako. Ang hirap kasi ng gawain ng isang nars... pero gusto ko pa rin 'to kahit papano. At gusto ko rin maging doctor kasi basta... naguguluhan ako. Kasi naman ang mga doctor sa ward namin pakalat-kalat. Napakaraming doctor... Magiisip ako ng mabuti... at magaaral na rin. ;)

HIMALA

I accidentally turned the channel to Studio 23 and found out that UST has a game against UP. It was almost the end of the 3rd quarter and in favor of UST. I think there was a 16 pt. difference. :) I watched it kasi I had this feeling na may pag-asa e. And they proved me right! UP may have tied the score at the end of the 4th quarter but UST still showed them that they deserve the win at overtime. Their 2nd "sweet" victory and 1st for the 2nd part of the league. I can say the players had improved. They now scored (hehe) and not let the opponent score (defense). :) I'm soo happy! Maybe because they had the motivation, ikaw na ang maging 2nd to the last hindi ka pa ba mag-eexert ng effort? And I could also see their eagerness... hmm, sana start na 'to? Db? ;) Don't tell me it was only a lucky win... ;p

Mature?

Friday - Skills lab on Sponge bath/Bed bath. Who's the model? BUBOI! Yihee, nakashorts lang siya. Tapos nun demo on perineal care (care of the vulva and anus). Model? Si Mrs. Chase (hindi ko alam ang spelling, hihi) the interchangeable mannequin (can be a male or a female). When it comes to nursing practice there's no malice whatsoever when you're talking or actually looking/touching others private parts (basta ba patient at kelangan talaga like the perineal care and catheterization). That's part e. Pero siyempre male to male, female to female. :) Open lahat dito when it comes to that. Wow medyo mature na kami, haha. We're gonna be used on things like that kaya ok. :)

Comp - wow ang hirap ng exercise namin huh! Hindi man lang kami tinuruan ni Sir... waaah! Thanks kay Tom. Medyo maingay ako dahil nafrufrustrate ako... ;(

PE - there are only few who are present, prelims kasi ng iba. Practical again on receiving naman. We done it! Iloveyouhero! Wooh! Kahit 1.75 lang tayo, hihi. ;)

Si Jim ay talo ni Miguel... kahit ilang laro ang laruin niyo Jim you just have to accept the fact na magaling si Miguel kesa sayo. PERIOD! Nakailan ba kayong laro? Kahit tayo na lang ang natititra dun... hehe.

Thurs - I did not attend CHN class. Puyat ako e tumamabay lang kami ni Claire, hehe. I studied for Ana-Phy instead. Because we got a test again! ;( (every meeting naman e, it either pre test or post test).

Eng - continuation of the group presentation. OMG! Si Mike bumigay na ata, haha. Your so bading! "I like to party... Everybody does... Make love tonight... Feel the music..." c/o Tagalog-QC. Si Chris at Buboi naman nawala ako sa tamang pagiisip, kakaloka! The Bicolano Romanticos. They're superheroes fighting the monster played by Vic Neil. Very creative and very funny! Wapoise na ko sa kakatawa, as in. even Ma'am Javena. ;p Their super powers were Bicol express, Pili nuts, Mayon (let's summon the power of MAYON) basta everything that has to do with Bicol. :)

*nakita ko pala si Jopa. Well, actually he saw me and touched my forehead tsaka ko lang nalaman na andun pala siya. It happened thrice na ata. Yung tipong hindi ko siya nakikita tapos bigla na lang manghahawak, nakakagulat. ;) Sabi muka daw ako manika? Hmm, is it on the positive or negative side? Kasi nakakatakot para sakin itsura ng mga manika, unless si Barbie yan.... haha. ;p

*at alam ko na kung anong name ng crush namin sa pacific. *wee* We gathered all the guts to ask the front desk on the name of the tenant in room *toot*. Kaso they gave us two names, tapos mga father pa. They are not sure kung alin sa dalawa ung hinahanap namin. FRIENDSTER! We first tried the first surname plus the name (the name can be spelled differently twice)... there are zero results. Then we tried the other surname plus the usual spelling of his name. Wala pa rin. Then the other shorter version of the name... *voila* we found him, at last! After almost 3 months of kilig moments we finally know his name. Kaya lang... only friends of him can view his profile. Urgh! sayang... pero may nadiscover pa rin kami. We have a common friend and it seems they are close (based on his testimonial to our friend... haha). Minessage namin ung friend namin, hehe. ;)

Turukan na!

Tuesday - We had our return demo for intradermal injection! Turukan na! :) I'm so excited and I don't feel any worries or fear of being injected. Na-get over ko na kaya ang fear ko ng needles? Sir Jef taught us some techniques and even demonstrated intramuscular and subcutaneous injection (Mark & Az). My partner was Majan and we are the 3rd pair. I injected Majan first after doing all the procedures. When I would finally inject the solution the needle came out so I have to inject again in another site. This time swak na swak! :) I was really so happy that I screamed pa nga e. Yehey! ;) Ni hindi nga nanginig kamay ko while injecting, it's just mind over matter. Dapat wag ka kabahan and all will end well. When it's my turn to be injected, calm lang ulit ako. Good thing Majan got it the first time. It was really painful when the needle was inserted. It was injected at the posterior part of the arms (dun sa walang hair) and just above the skin so you have to taut the skin.

I'm so happy! Yung mga groupmates ko mas gusto daw nila na sila ung iniinject imbis na sila ung mag-iinject. Ako, the other way around! :)


Eng - presentation on languages. Since I'm the only one from Batangas I joined the Tagalog-Manila group, hehe. Sayang gusto ko pa naman magreport about different words in Batangas so they would not have those weird faces when I would say some words that they don't know. ;p

Hay I slept really late because I compiled our report in MicroPara. Waah! Ang gulo ang labo... 0_o

Oops!

No classes last Monday - St. Dominic. I went early to Manila for the planned meeting for our MP report, but due to reasons that I really don't know it didn't happen. So I stayed in my room with my mag and snacks and one or two txt messages from heroish. Bummer. Only to realize that I forgot my shoes as in my only black shoes in Batangas. Waah! Panic attack! I didn't have any other shoes that I could wear for tomorrow and the whole damn week. I asked Claire to accompany me to the nearest mall, San Lazaro. We roamed the place looking for a black shoe that is affordable. Nothing really fancy, something that I could use for the week. And it's really hard to chose because there is nothing that I like and suites the budget allotted. After several minutes or an hour Claire and I were just laughing our heads off. Some shoes are really not that good-looking, haha. And there are these shoes that we don't think the price was reasonable for what they look like and made of (parang hindi maganda ung material tapos 999.00). We thought on buying something I could still wear, like flats, but it would not look good with our uniforms so we didn't proceed with that idea. Basta, I was forced to buy this particular pair even though I don't really like it. I have to BUY something. I can't go to school wearing something other than a black shoe, hehe. ;p (ok naman pala ung nabili ko, haha)

My Wishful Thinking

Last Sunday was the game of UST vs. UE. It was already elimination games for UAAP. They have to win this game! I know there would be really low chances for us to be included as top teams for the semis but they could at least have some added streak on their "win" side of the team standing. It was good start until the UE took over the lead and it went as far as 20 ata. I had to switch channels cause I can't bear to watch the game. Then on the second half I checked it again and UST was coming back and chasing off the lead until they had it tied. By this time I have to go and attend mass. I was really confident that we would win. Of course, I didn't know the game's outcome I would just read the results on newspaper tomorrow morning. So comes tomorrow and a high expectation. I was shocked to see the final scores. Urgh! We lost, and a big, big (ok so not that big) lead by the other team. So much for my wishful thinking and that spurt of hope I had. Wait 'til the cheer dance competition, we will stand high with pride! :)

I had a hunch that what I'm thinking will happen. And yes, it really happened. All bad or pessimistic things inside my head seems to manipulate the events and made it true to life, as vivid as it could get. Actually, it made me wait... seconds, minutes. Only to see what I want or really not want, but what I'm picturing in my mind.But now it's all over, I'm done.

Kabado

Friday – No classes that morning, wooh! What did I do? Wala lang... kumain, natulog. It was really rainy! After lunch I went to school for Computer classes. We did some MS word exercises again. dami ko natutunana dito ah! ;p

PE – waaah! Practical of the forehand and backhand service. As usual we take turns practicing with our partners. Ako si Hero partner ko. :) We also practiced figure of eight. I can see we're improving, haha. We are the group that we called last since alphabetical. When it's my turn sobrang kinabahan ako kaya nanginginig talaga kamay ko during the practical kaya yung mga forehand serves ko sablay! ;( Ayan 2.0 lang ako. Hmm... After that we went to eat. We stayed with the boys in GS tapos kain kami Silly Wendy's. I went home na. Wala akong payong medyo umaambon pero lakad lang ako. Mukang tanga nga e, may dala pa ko malaking paper bag. ;)

HELL DAY

Thursday - CHN kala ko turukan na! That would be done daw in the RLE, sucks! Nakakatawa, most are studying for ana-phy. Our books are on the floor open for studying purposes; whenever Ma’am Manuel would walk at the middle aisle all of us closes the book... siyempre naririnig ung sabay-sabay na pagsasara... haha. ;) Here comes the exciting part, demonstration on parenteral administration! First demo was on intradermal injection. Sinong model? Si Chris! :) He was really injected! Nakakatawa siya, si Ma'am ung nag-administer. Imagine intradermal (just below the skin). We could see the needle sa balat niya... pero hindi naman daw masakit. It was an isotonic solution of water I think. :)

ANA-PHY - pre test on muscular... practical for skeletal system. 5 persons would be called in front. Sir would a specific bone/bone part then you would point or locate it on the skeleton at the table (si Diego!). You got two chances and the only grade you could get was 0 or 10. I got ten! :) I was asked to point where the anatomical neck of the femur... I know where the neck was located but I don't know where was the anatomical part was... good thing I got it right. Thanks to Kat and co. ;) It's fun watching my other classmates, super kabado. :) The good part was we would not proceed with the muscles, wooh! :)

LUNCH - Colayco, studied for MP lec test

Eng 101 - All about communication. Now we have to do the 5 levels of communication. Well, only level four wherein you go beyond clichés although no self-disclosure is taking place. We all made a big circle and asked to share. Mike was the first one and so on. One topic that really got the attention of our professor was the thing about our new classmates from section I-10 before. It seems there is really a barrier between us. Since it was taken up maybe there would be some improvements and changes. Hay, ung issue ng "bitch" medyo hinarap na... waah! I wanna say my opinion but I just don't want to make things worst! Basta I so love my class, simply because there are no pretensions whatsoever. There is no need for us to change to be able to cope up, we accept things as they are and we are able to be ourselves. There is also no competition instead we are helping one another through and through. :) And most of all, the happy-go-lucky attitude that make us survive the harsh reality of NURSING. :) GO II-10! Ano sinabi mo Chris? Hindi ka outcoming? Baka OUTGOING, haha! ;)

II-10 goes out in the neighborhood. Hehe, sa SM San Lazaro... it was only my 2nd time to be there. Hay saya, we played sa arcade... una shooting (as in baril) with Hanna tapos race car, sigaw ako ng sigaw... haha. KARAOKE TIME! With Hanna, Auds, Claire, Ian... wooh! I sang Anything For You and Biglaan... hehe. :) Looking forward for a next time. ;)

I want to watch sana Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Mike, Silly also) kaso we are outnumbered by group that wanted to watch D’Anothers. What a waste of money, ang corny sobra... but it happened already ano pang magagawa. Low, low quality plot! Sad to say but still our industry especially comedy had been far than being impressive; plot wise or even acting wise. Maybe that's why people just don't recognize or watch local flicks because they suck. I'm not really saying that all are not good but most. There are only a few that stand out and are worth watching. We want quality films, hehe.

Wednesday - badtrip samin si Ma'am Ramirez... hmm.

Ana-Phy - discussion of the muscular system, with the interactive CD... whatta sound effects! ;)

Comp - exercise on Microsoft word, haha. It seems that everybody knows how to make word documents right? But guess what there are many other things to learn that could make it even easier for you. Natutuwa ako. :)

MP lab - experiment on control of microbial growth... finger imprint sakin. :)

MMI Gen. Assembly - I should have not attended this considering for a fact that the day after this was HELL DAY. Pre-test for Muscular, practical for skeletal and muscular, test in MP lec. Waaah! But because of the points and this is the only org I had I attended it. After that I went home bought food (JOLLIBEE!) and slept. ;) I actually alarmed my phone 10 pm but guess what I didn’t hear it! Buti na lang I woke up past 12... aun I studied na for my tests until 5 am with sleeping intervals of 2-3 and 5-6. :)

Monday - New CI, he was Sir Jeffrey de Jesus (if I spelled his name right). He was ok, parang kwela but not in a way I like... hehe. Anyways, we had our return demo for bed making. Labo nga e, we practiced occupied bed then on the return demo we had to do unoccupied close bed.

Viki and I stayed at the pacific, hmm... yosi! I mean siya lang ha... sa loob ng unit ko! ;)

That night the rain poured so hard. Medyo baha na nga e, kala namin ni Claire tuloy-tuloy na. Hmm, bilis naman mawala! Ate at Jollibee, oooh! Sarap-sarap. ;p

Tuesday - OPD (Out Patient Department). We went there to get our Nursing History. A weird thing happened. An old man approached me because he saw my nameplate. We had the same surname pala, so he asked me "Velasco? Velasco din po ako Ma'am" blah-blah then he ask me where I came from, he's from Ormoc daw (anlayo sa batangas huh!). If I know Epimaco Velasco, they were cousins daw. He keeps insisting we were relatives. He even should me an ID with his name Victor Velasco (if I got the name right again!). Nickname daw niya Buboi (hehe)... he ask me about my family, grandparents, where do I stay and what course am I in and what level. Medyo natakot din ako pero muka namang harmless. After that he shook hands with me and said that sana magkita ulit kami. Waah! After I told that to my other RLE groupmates they told me I should have lied. But I can’t help it... parang feeling ko mahahalata ako pag nagsinungaling. Anyways no harm done! :)

* Si Viki hindi mapigil sa kakayosi! Talagang pinuntahan pa naming si Buboi sa Asturias Grille para may kasama siyang mga-yosi. Imagine there are 4 people smoking tapos lahat ng usok nila nalalanghap ko, ako pa una mamatay sa mga yun e! Remember that second hand smokers get more damage, sheesh!
